Yoga literally means "unity" or "to connect".
The teachings of yoga are several thousand years old and have only found their way into the western world in the last few decades. From my point of view exactly at the right time - because yoga forms a counterpoint to today's zeitgeist.
I offer different ways for you to practice yoga with me. I am more than happy to help you dive deeper into your personal Yoga journey!

Yoga personal training

Take your practice to the next level!
In personal training, the focus is on you and your progress: you decide the pace, how often and how much is practiced. It's perfect if you are just starting out in yoga and want to learn the basics. Or, you may already be advanced in your practice and wish to have someone help you with specific topics such as alignment, transitions, and advanced asanas.
In our sessions, we will address all your needs and work on your personal development as a yogi.

Yoga classes

Several times a week I offer yoga classes in groups at ATHA YOGA in Zurich and Zollikon.
​
The classes are divided into different Levels, names: Power Flow, Dynamic Flow, Slow Flow and Restorative Flow.
If you are a beginner, you are best off in a restorative or slow class. If you already have yoga experience and are looking for a challenge, you can sign up for Dynamic or Power Flow.
I teach holistic yoga, which means that in the group lessons physical exercises as well as meditation and breathing exercises are practiced.

Prenatal Yoga

How beautiful you are creating a new life within you!

You don't have to give up yoga during your pregnancy. Even if you want to start yoga during pregnancy, it's not a problem - on the contrary!
You are in a wonderful stage of your life and it is a huge support for your health if you practice yoga. Especially if you are experiencing discomfort such as heaviness in your legs, breathing difficulties, lower back pain or even anxiety, yoga will help you to strengthen yourself holistically. And not only you - also your baby benefits from your increased well-being :)

Pilates

A strong, defined functional body is the essence of Pilates.
Pilates is a modern total body workout and is based on the concept of Joseph Pilates. Rather weak himself, he wanted to find a way to strengthen his body and gain muscle, as well as optimize breath and posture. He drew a lot of inspiration from bodybuilders and ballet dancers.
Pilates is perfect for building muscle, improving posture or even for rehabilitation. The exercises are performed in a slow and controlled manner and is also suitable for beginners. Pilates has nothing to do with yoga in its origin, but has very many parallels and I like to combine elements from Pilates into yoga and vice versa to create a challenging and progressive workout.
